The good news is I’m about 80% recovered from being sick the past week. And a lot of other things have cleared up and I’m feeling a lot less stressed. I am having a little problem writing the next stretch though, so rather than writing myself into a corner, I’ve decided to change everything to the old west. Should work.

I may have been inspired by listening to THIS interview with Shane and Chris Houghton, the brother creator team on the awesome all-ages comic Reed Gunther. I’ve really been enjoying this comic book, and I highly recommend picking it up from your local comic book shhtore.

Buh! This one took all night. Sometimes when you get stuck, you really get stuck. I know everyone’s been waiting for this to conclude. I’m afraid there’s going to be a few mysteries that still need to brew.

This strip was very frustrating. Even though I’d been thinking about it for weeks I still don’t think I got it right. Thank you everyone for sticking around so far. I know its been a slow pace. I’m learning a lot about how to do the next storyline better (quicker/tighter).

I don’t post the lineart much for these strips, but I was really happy with how this one turned out. Think it actually looks better than the colored version. The cross-hatching on the pillar came-out nicely, I think.

I think… something might be about to happen.

For my next storylines I’m going to work on keeping it down to 2 weeks at the most. I know this one has dragged on. But I’m learning a lot on it. Not just with writing, but even with my art, and pacing. Eventually I’ll find the perfect balance between story and pacing. I appreciate you all sticking with me. It means a lot that you’re even still interested.

I really like how the 3rd and 4th panel turned out on this one. They made me happy.

By the way, I will be in Dallas TX this weekend… to get out of the town I live in, for just a bit. I want to get a group of webcomics artists together for a sketchnight if you’re in the area. We’ll be meeting up at the Chipotle on 75 and Forest Lane, Saturday night at 7. If you’re in the area, please stop by. It should be fun.

The first Super Zeroes strip of 2012! Hooray for that. I thought I’d start this year off with a nice double-strip. I didn’t think it would take me so long. Actually I’ve been trying to figure these next few strips out for over a month. Guess that’s part of the job.
