The good news is I’m about 80% recovered from being sick the past week. And a lot of other things have cleared up and I’m feeling a lot less stressed. I am having a little problem writing the next stretch though, so rather than writing myself into a corner, I’ve decided to change everything to the old west. Should work.
I may have been inspired by listening to THIS interview with Shane and Chris Houghton, the brother creator team on the awesome all-ages comic Reed Gunther. I’ve really been enjoying this comic book, and I highly recommend picking it up from your local comic book shhtore.

EDIT: I should probably say that super zeroes is NOT actually going to the old west. Just felt like drawing something different tonight.

I just watched Cowboys and Indians before I saw this. Huh? I didn’t notice the first time I saw this, but there’s shadows behind them. Haha!
Ha! Yeah, I went for subtle. like this old timey photos at the fair.
haha…..johnny reminds me of that big hat netflix commercial. Could be influenced by your latest sketchbook entry too though….the fuzzy’s cowboy? Either way, always a big fan of the one panel entries partner….yee haw!! (sound of guns firing in the air)
I just kept making the hat taller and taller… and it still doesn’t seem tall enough. Yeah, the fuzzy’s cowboy was hilarious, he looked like a baby with a beard, and his hat was so giant and beat up. Very funny.
Dude, You Friggin’ Rock!!!! I love the colors in your Background… Teach me Jedi!!!!
Thanks! It took me a little bit, because I had to drive to New Mexico and wait for the sunset.
Nice to see your characters out of context with the regular strip. The color and design is dazzling.
