I don’t do a lot of silent strips, in fact this is probably only my second for Super Zeroes. With only two updates a week, I worry it would bog down without jokes or exposition. But this one was stuck in my head for weeks.
By the way, framing shots with large black shapes (like palm leaves and logs! ) saves so much time in the drawing process. Also makes for good mystery. I highly recommend experimenting with it if you don’t already.

Love the crazy panel shapes! Thanks to this intense chase sequence, I will be lookin’ out for shady hooded figures the rest of the week…and little blue creatures.
Note to self…..more mystery logs.
Thanks Jason! I’ve seen a couple creepy hoodie kids running around the mall. No little blue creatures yet…. or mystery logs. lol
The mystery is picking up the pace! Love the motion effects on the trees. Fun, Will!
Thanks mark!
I concur. love the panel shapes, love the motion effects on the trees, love the 180 in the scene, but I love the pose of hoodie boy the most.
The hoodie boy running through the trees was what’s been stuck in my head. Glad it turned out well. Thanks for the compliments!
You’re a Beast Will…
Ah, man. This is SO great. Very cinematic. Love the subtle speed lines!
Thanks Asher!
