Wonderwut! This little blue guy is one of my favorite characters. If you don’t remember him be sure to read these strips starting HERE! I was really surprised to have him back so soon. Guess that means the story’s starting to take on a life of its own. This time around, I decided to put a little more into designing him. I’m much happier with how he looks now.
On a creative note… Ki’s dialect has really been bugging me. I’m sure a few of you as well. I decided to edit some of the previous strips, and take a different approach to her. The hazards of writing as you go, not a lot of time for editing.
On a personal note, Amber and I will be at CTN animation expo this weekend in Burbank! I’m really looking forward to meeting some of my all time favorite artists. Like Marcello Vignalli, Nico Marlet (if he’s there), Jake Parker and SO many others! I’ll be sure to do a write up when we get back.
Thanks everyone for reading! You all are awesome!

Ok, I may be getting ahead of myself but dare I say…PLUSHIE! That little blue guy is just a few stitches short of a plushie empire, lol! I figured out why I use the word wonderful so much when I try to describe your work, it’s because it is full of wonder, Will. Thanks for giving me something new and surprising each time I click on your URL. Can’t wait to see where the story goes and how little monster blue fits in. (Does he/she have a name?)
HAHA! That would be awesome! I’d love to do something like that if I get enough readers one day. I think as his character develops more, people will start to like him even more. His name is Wonderwut, by the way.
I’m so glad I can keep surprising you! I’ve had a few surprises myself. I’m really enjoying that.
Good idea on Ki’s dialect..i was tinkin’ the same but didn’t say nuttin’ dog
…..also Wonderwut is such a fun character, my son Jaiden couldn’t stop smiling just lookin at him….hes a huge fan of dragons and lizards though…convinced hes getting one for christmas if he can’t catch one first….anways, awesome job will! fannypacks for everyone!!
Yeah, well, next time say sumpin’ I dont want to sound like a jackass, lol. That makes me SO happy about Jaiden liking wonderwut. I’ll have to keep that in mind as I’m writing.
And, you should totally take him dragon hunting! Have you heard about the Dad that took his daughter out to find ewoks, and later added them into the photos in photoshop? http://abclocal.go.com/kfsn/story?section=news/bizarre&id=8355036 So fun! I can’t wait to have kids to do that kind of stuff for!
Wonderwut!!!!!
You know it!
that ewok hunt story was awesome….i’ll have to keep that in mind….assuming we don’t find a real dragon
