Just before posting todays strip I decided I wanted to draw a completely different strip in front of it. This is that strip. I like how the downshot on that first panel turned out. Hoping that last panel makes sense.
Just a quick shout-out to my friend Brandon Adkins for tweaking the code on this site, so that the Super Zeroes Logo doesn’t obscure the comic in Firefox and Chrome anymore. He also fixed up the archives nice and pretty as well as a few other little changes here and there. I designed this site, but there’s no way I could have coded it. He’s my hero!

Watch out, thats where the bums live in Balboa Park. Another great strip, nice energy, and I like this limited palette. It would be interesting to see all the reference photos you took fool these panels.
i should have got more reference photos of the bums. That’s whats missing!
Nice action angles, makes the comic come alive. Your color work is great as usual. Nice work Will.
Thanks Tim! Pushing action is something I’m trying to get better at. Trying to do it in 4 panels is good exercise.
Haha. They are kinda like ewoks there.
HAHA!
certainly looks like you are having fun with the chase….and the readers get to benefit!
Thanks man! Happy to oblige!
Slippery lil’ thing, isn’t it?
I’m glad I don’t have to try to catch him!
Your color work is amazing!!! But not as amazing as you guys!!! (Pure Cheddar baby!!)
Thanks for lunch today! Great conversation and fun times! I appreciate you man!
Man you’re deadly with those shadows! Fantastic strip, Will. Great action and as always, top notch color!
Thanks Mark! I almost like the Black and White on this one even more than the color, just because of the high contrast on the shadows. I’m loving playing with contrast like that.
