I have to say, after three weeks of doing strips Mon-Fri… I am really enjoying this!  I hope ya’ll aren’t bored with the “girls” thing yet, its just easy to write (I have a wealth of material to draw on, lol) while I work out all the basics of producing a strip.   I have been a comic book artist off and on for more than a decade, over half of that, I was actually “professionally” doing it.  But I never enjoyed it half as much as I do right now.  I guess its the fact that doing these strips actually matter in the long run.  When you’re freelancing, its often just a paycheck, filling a hole that can never be filled.  Sure, I’m doing it while using my talent and art, but it wasn’t building towards the life I want to live, and so part of me could never get completely invested in it.

But this… I wake up excited, jump out of bed and can’t wait to get to work, and I love every minute of it.  I always knew it was possible to feel that way.  They say, that’s how you find  your dream job… Find what you’re passionate about, where you can use your greatest talents, that creates value for the world that people will pay for, and fulfills God’s intentions for your life.  If you can make all 4 of those perfectly align… that is your dream job.   I have worked my entire life to get to this place.  I can honestly say that this IS my dream job, and I love love love doing it.  I know, before too long, I will be making a living with it.

So, I’ll be introducing a new main character Monday.  Her name is Rosina “Muertina”.  I’ll talk about her some more next week.

Not getting tired of the “girls” storyline. Considering your audience (of which I proudly count myself) I think that you are preaching to the choir. Keep it up and I can’t wait to see what you have planned for the Super Zeros at the Lubbock Con.

Thank you Robert! I appreciate the comment and the feedback. I am really excited about what I’m working on for the SZ book for the WTxCC. I’ve got a few short story ideas racing around my head, trying to get them all down and draw out at least one to include in the collection. Again, thanks for the comment! It makes me smile to hear what other people are thinking about the strip.
