Be it character or story development. I really think there is a lot to consistency of updates. If the reader doesn't care for today's offering, they know that your consistent and that you will give them something else next time around that they might like better. I think dialogue and character development has evidently become one of your strong suits from what I've read thus far. As an artist I am drawn ofcourse to the awesome use of color in your work, but it's the writing that has kept me just as excited to read the next one. As someone who is also not very confident in my story telling ability as well....I can assure you that if I wrote what you wrote I wouldn't have any worries....well...maybe not as many.
