A few updates for the month…

I am still working on the pages for the second-half of Magical Misery Tour. Its been a lot longer getting everything done than I had expected. I am hesitant to put another date up, but I am very excited to start posting again. Thank you all for being so patient!

I recently was a guest on the fantastic podcast Comics Coast To Coast with Brian, Joel and Matt! I really enjoyed the discussion, and was able to talk about a lot of the good stuff from this past year. I’ve been a huge fan of their podcast for a long time, so it was a real honor to be on the show. Thanks guys! Please check out the INTERVIEW and don’t forget to listen to all the great podcasts on the Frog Pants Network.

AMA-Con – Amarillo convention
I will be a guest at AMA-Con this weekend in Amarillo! This is their first show, I hope it goes well enough they have to do more! If you’re in the area, please come out to support the event, come say hi, and buy stuff from everyone there! Details here: http://ama-con.amarillolibrary.org/

Dark Ages 15th anniversary
Last week was the anniversary of my 15th anniversary as a comic book artist. I made a couple of posts to mark the occasion.

I posted my first comic book pages from 1997!

A list of 7 things I’ve learned in my time as an artist…

I’ve also posted a few drawing demonstration videos to answer questions I get from a lot of artists.

Hey everyone! I am really sorry the next part of the Magical Misery Tour hasn’t started yet. This month has not gone as planned. I’ve had a lot of good, exciting stuff going on, but nothing I can talk about yet. I have been working on the new pages, and my goal is to start posting again sometime next week.

I intend to start making some videos on cartooning. I posted the first one recently. Let me know what you all think. Also, if you have any suggestions on things you’d like to me to cover in the videos, please leave me a comment about it and I’ll try to get it in. I love teaching art, I’m hoping this will be a good venue for it.

Friends fight sometimes – that’s just how it goes. When giant robots are involved though, it makes the fights all the more fun!

I’ve been working on this poster off and on for a couple months in my spare time, and its now available as a full color print! Just $10 bucks!

I hope you’ll pick one up and make this artist a happy fellar.

I will be at the Lubbock Comic Book Expo this coming Saturday and Sunday. I helped start this comic convention 5 years ago, and its really starting to grow into its own. We have a ton of great guests, lots of cool stuff.  I will be hosting a Writer/Artist Q&A with several of our special guests, that will be Saturday at 3:30 in the Executive suite. I’ll also be hosting a Webcomics creator discussion Sunday at 1:00 pm. If you’re near West Texas, you should definitely come out and support this convention.
